Following the receipt of 110 inspiring stories, we are honored to announce that our brokerage was among the 10 Canadian brokerage firms selected to receive a $10,000 donation from Wawanesa, that is to be awarded to a local charity of our choice.
Support for a Cause Dear to Our Hearts
We have decided to allocate this sizable donation to Le Tournant, an organization who's mission is to manage a crisis and suicide prevention center. This choice was by no means random as we were inspired by a suicide prevention class named Le Sentinelle, given to our team by Le Tournant last spring. This donation will allow us to reinforce our commitment to a cause that holds real importance for us and for the community.
A Significant National Contribution
In total, Wawanesa will distribute $150,000 across Canada, thus underlining the importance of community engagement. We are proud to be part of this initiative and to contribute to concrete and beneficial actions on the ground.
